To mark the 5th annual Justice Speaks event, we are excited to announce Nina Totenberg, NPR’s award-winning Supreme Court Correspondent, as our featured Speaker. Nina holds the distinction of being the first radio journalist to have won the National Press Foundation’s “Broadcaster of the Year” award. She will share her seasoned reflections on the Supreme Court, top legal issues affecting everyday Americans, and the important cases being considered by the court. 30 Common Credit Scams: A Guide for Financially Vulnerable Adults
In the modern world, most of us will rely on electronic banking in some form or another. Whether it’s using a card to pay for items in shops, or online transfers, we seamlessly use a blend of digital finance tools and cash in our everyday lives. Unfortunately, this means that there is also a myriad of ways that scammers can target consumers, especially if they are a high-risk group. And with so many different scams doing the rounds, it can be hard to keep track of what you’re meant to look out for.
Digital Money For Seniors
When it comes to online banking, we could all do with a helping hand. Whether it’s setting up accounts or keeping track of spending, this shift to digitised money management is difficult for a lot of people to get their heads around. In particular, older generations who have spent their lives banking in the traditional way may struggle to adopt the modern approach, with concerns around safety or technological barriers often preventing seniors from making the most of online banking.

Justice in Schools - Legal Services of Western Missouri
  Justice in Schools Last year, 21% of students in Missouri school districts moved at least once during the school year. WHY IT MATTERS: Students who move have poorer attendance and lower academic achievement than classmates who remain in the same class.
A Guide to Veterans’ Benefits
According to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs,  over 18.2 million veterans age 65 and older are living in the United States. This particular demographic may have more need for resources than others yet have difficulty accessing them because they may not know where to look for help.
The Legal Services Model Practices and Innovations
The Legal Services Corporation has released information concerning:       1.  New info sheet on allied legal professionals to increase access to justice;       2.  New feature articles on allied legal professionals and diversity, equity, and            Inclusion;      3.  LSC resources on fundraising and allied legal professional.
