Recovering from a Natural Disaster - Missouri Disaster Manual
The Legal Help in Disasters Committee (LEHDCOM) of the Governor’s Faith-Based and Community Service Partnership for Disaster Recovery developed the "Disaster Manual for Lawyers and the Public."  The manual was prepared for both lawyers and the public for times of natural disasters in Missouri.  The manual provides information from obtaining state and federal aid to legal information concerning landlord/tenant and consumer laws.  Click on the document below to view this valuable information.

Divorce in Missouri
Divorce   A divorce can take place if the marriage is irretrievably broken. The case is decided by a judge without a jury. In Missouri, either the husband or the wife must have lived in the state for 90 days before the divorce can be filed.

Missouri Tenant Help
Many persons served by legal aid programs in Missouri may be facing eviction and are unable to get an attorney.  Sadly, we do not have the resources to serve all those who seek our help. We are providing a link to the https://motenanthelp.org that can help self-represented persons defend themselves. The website can produce a document which a tenant can file with the court where their eviction is pending. Additionally, the website has tons of helpful information about evictions.
