The Mid-Missouri Legal Services (MMLS) developed a Disaster Documents Checklist that lists important documents that you should safe guard during times of natural disasters. Do not risk your life collecting items from your home during a natural disaster at the last minute!  Gather them in advance and keep them safe and with you in a waterproof container just in case you must leave your home due to a flood, tornado or other disasters.
