In 2011, there were five vacant lots at the corner of Wabash Avenue and East 29th Street in Kansas City, Missouri, that residents considered an eyesore. The intersection in the city’s Key Coalition neighborhood had faded in the last few decades as residents with money left. But thanks to Dre Taylor, a local social entrepreneur, those lots were transformed into a thriving urban farm by 2016.

ST. LOUIS – The Legal Services Corporation (LSC) Board of Directors will present Pro Bono Service Awards on Thursday, January 17, to two Missouri attorneys and two law firms in recognition of their extraordinary commitment to equal justice.

1. The forms attached to this order, having been prepared by the State Judicial Records Committee and reviewed by the Court, are hereby approved for distribution. The forms approved supersede any similar forms previously approved by this Court.
This article was updated to reflect changes in the law, which took effect Aug. 28, 2021.
Individuals who committed certain crimes may have those offenses sealed under Missouri’s expungement law, lifting a huge stress off their shoulders and opening the door to potential opportunities.
