LAWMO Celebrates Pro Bono Week!

In recognition of the American Bar Association's National Celebration of Pro Bono Week, we want to take this opportunity to thank our active Volunteer Attorney Project (VAP) members for their service to our communities.

Legal Aid of Western Missouri's (LAWMO) mission -- Improving the lives of those in need through quality legal assistance -- is better realized because of volunteer involvement. And we acknowledge that their commitment to pro bono and their contribution of time and talents is the reason for VAP's 35 years of success. Last year alone, VAP members donated more than 6,049 hours of legal assistance. For 2017, we are on our way to surpassing that number.

This week we will feature a few of our volunteers' success stories on our Facebook page. Please take a moment to read how our volunteers are making a difference in the lives of our clients.  If you click on the link above you will be leaving this website.

Thank you,

Joseph Dandurand, Executive Director, LAWMO

Latricia Scott Adams, Director, Volunteer Attorney Project
